Class in Focus - 2 Wood/Paine

Reading is a central part of our everyday life in the classroom. We have whole class Phonics sessions every day to support our reading, we read in groups (supported reading), with partners (repeated reading) and individually to our many classroom helpers. We also enjoy sharing books in our Library sessions on Wednesdays. Home Reading is also important to help develop this vital skill. I’ve been so impressed with the engagement of all of the students and the results are amazing. We are a class of readers.
