Class in Focus - 3/4 New

On Wednesday 18 June, 3/4 New visited the Channel Museum to learn about how our community has changed.

We split into 4 groups and were guided around the Museum

by knowledgeable guides.

We noticed the differences between the rooms in the Museum and our homes now.  There were lots of items in the Museum that we did not recognise like the butter churn and the chamber pot.

The old School Room was really interesting. Students role played being a student of the past and sat quietly at their desks.

We travelled to Dru Point Park and spent some quiet time reflecting on how Aboriginal people would have interacted with our local area.

After lunch we had a play at the park.
