All of these events are listed on our communication platforms and we are incredibly excited to share these with our school community. We will continue to share snapshots of each wonderful event on our Social Media channels as this is a wonderful way to join in the fun if you are unable to attend.

As we approach this exciting event we want to express our sincere gratitude to everyone involved – students, parents and especially Mr Stephen Jones, our extraordinary Performing Arts Teacher. Mr Jones has worked tirelessly behind the scenes with a team of volunteers, guiding and inspiring our students to deliver a performance that promises to be nothing short of spectacular. His passion for the Arts and commitment to nurturing the talents of our students have truly made this production possible. This event is not just a school production; it's a community celebration. It truly takes a village to put on a show of this magnitude and we are grateful for the support and collaboration that has made this production possible. Your support in assisting our students to be involved means the world to our young performers and we can't wait to share this enchanting experience with you.
That’s all from me. Have a wonderful week and as always make sure that you are following our learning journey through our newsletter, Social Media channels and class Seesaw.
With warmth,
Our school Netball teams have completed their roster. This year we were lucky enough to have both a Grade 3/4 and 5/6 team compete in the Winter and Summer roster.
Thank you to all parents and family members who helped in the roles of Team Manager, Coach and Umpiring, particularly Jo Gomer and Fiona Woolley.
Our Grade 3/4 team 'Kingston Good Shots' again completed the roster undefeated (with one draw).
Our Grade 5/6 team the Kingston Shooting Stars enjoyed themselves throughout the roster often playing with 6 on the court rather than the required 7.
Well Done everyone for another great year of Netball!
The time is fast approaching for the biggest performance of the year, as 300 Kingston Primary students transport you to a mystical world of adventure and excitement.
Our show is coming along beautifully, with the main cast putting in hours of rehearsal to refine their performance and each class working incredibly hard to perfect their singing and dancing in readiness for the big day.
Earlier this week the cast and backstage crew went to Hobart College Performing Arts Centre to rehearse on the big stage for the first time. It was an incredibly exciting day with the main cast using wireless microphones and with full lights and sound in effect as well. The cast was amazing and the backstage crew did a wonderful job.
Jade had most of the cast in full costume and they looked great. We have almost finished fitting the entire cast out and we have some spare bits of costume available to any students who are having trouble getting a costume sorted. Please let the school know if you are in dire need of any costuming assistance.
Tickets for both performances are selling quickly, so if you are yet to purchase your tickets please do so now. If you need assistance buying tickets please get in touch with the school office. It would be fabulous to see as many of you in attendance as possible. As a performer a big audience is such an exciting thing to see.
Our wonderful students and teachers have also been creating props and sets for the performance in their spare time and the whole production is looking spectacular.
